Government four-in-one recycling system

In 1997, the Environmental Protection Department of Taiwan promoted the "community" to recycle and reuse waste through household waste sorting, combined with "local cleaning teams", "recycling industry" and "recycling Fund". Through the integration of the four elements, a complete recycling network can be established to ensure that the resource waste is actually recycled or properly disposed of, and that the participating public, cleaning teams and recyclers can obtain reasonable profits or incentives to ensure the complete recycling system.

1. The community promotes the classification and recycling of household garbage through the voluntary establishment of recycling organizations by the community.

2. The local cleaning team will collect and treat the resource garbage separately from the general garbage, and the proceeds from the sale will be returned to the participating people, units and personnel in proportion.

3. The recycling industry encourages the development of private enterprises to acquire resource materials from the public, communities and cleaning teams.

4. Recovery fund shall establish an effective recovery system, supervise the payment of recovery, removal and disposal fees by the responsible operators, and establish a subsidy and incentive mechanism.
